About The Schools Debating Network (SDN)
The Schools Debating Network is a debating competition held between independent primary and secondary schools located in Northern Sydney. Debating encourages students to think critically about the world around them, discussing important questions of policy in society such as the role of government, communities and individuals.
The SDN competition brings together students from years 5 to 12, their coaches, teachers and a network of highly trained adjudicators in a competitive setting, aimed at increasing students' verbal skills, understanding of logic and general knowledge.
